The Storm’s Song

When a storm cloud becomes both dark and bright
What kind of song will it sing tonight
Do you think it’s in a rock and roll mood
Or is metal more it’s attitude

As the sandstorm flies across the dune
Is it singing a happy tune
Will it manage to dance all in a line
Because it’s throwing a hootenanny just fine

As the hurricane gathers out at sea
It remains alone and full of jealousy
And while it may think it’s all emo
It’s more into punk don’t you know

When the tornado touches down
You can hear it’s rap all across town
Uptown or downtown it’s got the funk
Freestyling all the way it’s got spunk

It doesn’t matter whether it’s rain or snow
Everywhere that you will ever go
Nature’s songs can always be heard
Both inspiring and frightening, word
